SOMFY IO Opening Detector The SOMFY opening detector is used to trigger scenarios in SOMFY TaHoma or to detect intrusion in SOMFY TaHoma Protect mode. Installed on windows and doors, it detects the magnetic contact on the moving leaf. You can then check the current status of your windows and doors at a glance from anywhere at any time, and also set it to automatically activate scenarios configured by you, such as turning on lights when the door opens. In your absence from home, it sends you a notification to your mobile if intrusion is detected and activates various preventive scenarios, such as securing the house shutters, turning on all lights, etc. Without the magnetic contact, the current status is not detected, but it detects any changes through vibrations and informs you accordingly.
